Tarangire National Park in Tanzania

Tarangire National Park in Tanzania is a natural  for some of the largest numbers of animals in the world. The

animals gather here during the dry season because they can find water in the Tarangire River. Naturally, there are many

(2) among them; it is common to see lions and leopards in (3) of prey. In the park, you can see (4)

like zebras, giraffes and elephants. However, there are also more (5) species that many people are not familiar with,

such as oryx and hartebeest. Recently, the number of oryx and hartebeest has decreased and scientists are trying to find

out why this is happening. They believe that (6) hunting, loss of land and changes in their source of food could be

responsible. They are studying the places where the animals (7) , and how often they give birth in order to find out

why some of these animals are dying (8) . Tarangire is also home to more than 550 different varieties of birds. In
