Your bank card has disappeared. You file an opposition with your bank

 

You notice the loss, theft, misappropriation or fraudulent use of your bank card, or of the data linked to it, or the beneficiary of the payment is placed in receivership or in liquidation. Only in these cases can you file an objection with your banker. Any other reason for opposition (litigation with a merchant, for example) is prohibited.

 

Quickly call your bank's opposition center or the interbank number 0 892 705 705 (0.34 euro / minute) accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week, which will guide you. Note the date and time of the telephone opposition, as well as the registration number that will be given to you.

 

Immediately confirm this opposition by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt from your bank and attach the receipt for the declaration of loss or theft made to the police or gendarmerie. Never give out your four-digit confidential code.
